ADRA Somalia Network

ADRA is changing the lives of millions of people around the world. ADRA has a global presence in 134 countries, implementing projects in 126 countries. While ADRA was established on November 1956, ADRA Somalia Chapter came into being in 1992. Uniquely, we work very closely with our local partners in areas such as education, women empowerment groups, and other non governmental groups  who are right at the heart of the community and can identify, and refer to us, the population who will most benefit from our interventions. Somali Disability Empowerment Network (SODEN) is one of Somalia best known and respected NGO’s that assists the mobility challenged individuals to build better lives through social integration, skill development, and useful representation in all aspects of life. ADRA has formed a partnership that aims at enhancement of education, training and consulting services other relevant sectors.

Horn of Africa Voluntary Youth Committee (HAVOYOCO) has been around since 1992, ADRA has partnered with HAVOYOCO in the Somaliland region to target the youth in the areas of renewable energy and promotion of employment

Doses of Hope (K-MFI) is a non-governmental development organization based in Somaliland. DHFs program is focused on improving livelihoods by addressing the significant challenges facing the low-income, disadvantaged and vulnerable groups.

DEVELOPMENT ACTION NETWORK (DAN) Somalia is a voluntary, non-governmental, non-political, non-partisan and nonprofit making organization, flexible and committed to provide programs answering to the community’s basic needs relevant to the current situation in Somalia. ADRA has partnered with DAN South Central Somalia in various areas such as advocacy, mobilization and training.

Burao Vocational Training Centre (Candlelight) is a local NGO concerned with vocational training in solar energy

Somaliland Renewable Energy Development Association (SOREDA) works in the entire Somaliland. They are majorly concerned with imparting the youth with skills in renewable energy and promotion of livelihoods.
